Information:
There are 2 versions of the Welsh Corgi :  Pembroke and Cardigan.
Up until 1934 these two were registered as 1 breed in the UK, both of them are identical mentaly but not quite physicaly because the Cardigan is slightly larger and "heavier boned" than the Pembroke...

For most people, the easiest way to recognise the difference between Pembroke and Cardigan is to look at the tails. Pembroke's are docked and Cardigan's are long... Here's a way to remeber : "The Pembroke has a "broke" tail ; the Cardigan has a long tail like the sleeves of a cardigan sweater" And the picture above is clearly a Thorgi!

Tips & Tricks:
The following tips & tricks can also be used on other breeds of dog!
During winter, either get some booties for your dog, of put a dollop of patroleum jelly at the bottom of their paws : this keeps them hydrated and avoids cracking...
Always (during winter) put a little coat or vest on you furry friend unless they have long fur.
